    Music in Apps

    I am writing an app that uses music from a well known recording artist. As long as I'm not selling my app for money, is it legal or not?

    You have to refer to your local copyright law... As i known... as long as you get your copy(Music) legally and not sell it, this will be fine.

    Beside that... beware of the software components used... this may trap you also if you plane to sell your product...
