Network Adaptor error
On my gateway windows 98 i get the following error everytime i restart my computer:
Your network adapter Linksys Etherfast Lan Card (0004) is not working properly. You may need to set it up again. For more information, see troubleshooter in windows help.
so far, i have not been able to fix this problem. do you guys have any suggestions? i ask this because i might get cable internet and the cable modem would hookup to this computer, so i was wondering how to fix that error message. and would i have to in order to run my high-speed internet?
thanks, any help is appreciated

It may be becuase you are using the incorrect hardware drivers. You should be able to pick up the latest drivers from the vendors website.
