Zone Alarm Pro - Ports question [RESOLVED]
I have a game called QuickSnooker, which allows On-line player, but because of my Firewall, Zone alarm pro ive been having problems getting on. Ive allowed to act as a server for incoming and outgoing messages and commands, and when i click play online it enters the waiting room. But nobody is there, on the websites FAQ www.quicksnooker.co.uk it says you need to open Port 1001 or something. Problem is i dont where i go to open it, or change it.
Thanks for any ideas

Are you physically connected directly to the internet?
If not, i.e. you are using a broadband modem etc., then you don't need a software firewall. Your router will be using NAT, therefore your system isn't publicly visible to the internet.
