    My 8x agp card

    i have a g froce 4 4800Ti and it 128MB but my motherboard is only 4x agp so i am not getting the full power of the card so anybody can help with that if there any trick any software and thanx

    If your hardware don't support it, then it is probably no way around. Just set the motherboard to use 4X agp and live with that....

    It's not worth the hassle or money in investing in AGP8 IMO, it was a port that failed miserably, nothing amazing was achieved in it compared to AGP 4, best to wait for PCI expresss if ya think of upgrading.

    Ideas man I was wondering what kind of games you play. Because judging from yar-x's video card he probably plays some extreme games. I will say that the jump from AGP 4X to 8X is tremendous. So in answer to your question:
    No there is no tweaking software that can make the performance on your hardware jump from 4X to 8X. But you can score an 8X mobo for about 67$. Maby like and Albatron, SOYO, MSI, or even gigabyte .
    I would definetly upgrade and you WILL see a difference.

    I can play heaps of games with my GF4 Ti4200. All the new games, Halo, DX2 etc.

    i think after all that there is no way out i wll live with that till i upgrade my motherboard and for the games i tried prince of persia and nfs underground and they didnt works ok but others are wrking just fine like UT2004 and Q&Q GENERALS and many games so i think i have a number of games will make me wait

    Ehhh...didn't they run at all...I have a dead old GPU and even I can run nfs underground...are you sure you have DX9b installed?

    you know man i think maybe it is the dierect x because at that time i didnt install 9b i was having 8 maybe so i ll try

    LOL, I got a real old pc, P4 1.4 w/ a GF4 MX440 and i can play all them games.

    Yes-check your motherboard manual to see if it supports 1.5v/0.8v.

    Hehe..yeah NFS needs DX9...
