    Is there a way to disable/turn-off the pinging sound a message box makes when it appears? I am making a simple game, and I don't want my users to be driven insane by the pinging sound. Thank you.

    But doesn't the presence of the (often incredibly annoying) DING sound differ when you use different "types" of message boxes though (like vbYesNo and stuff)?
