Martinliss is the administration.
We can administrate the Arabic versions here from Dubai.. And we will do everything for making them the best IT resources in the Arab world..
They'll never let someone else be in charge of VBForums or any of its sister sites.
If you mean have it translated, then I really don't see the point, as the languages used on the internet (not just spoken languages which is what Martin provided), are usually English, German, Chinese/Japanense.

There are people with Administrator forum privileges (me) and then there are people who administer VBF and the other Jupitermedia forums (Gus, Brad, etc.). The latter are the ones who make the major decisions. When Brad has time I'm sure he'll comment on this thread.

As mentioned by pc_madness, English is the primary language used on the internet at this time. In many cases, translated versions of sites have generally been dropped because most traffic goes to the English versions.
I will ask and see what Jupitermedia's position is on translating sites. I don't, however, expect that it is something that will happen.
Additionally, as Martin mentioned, there are other languages that are more popular than Arabic. Granted, his chart is language in general. A more relevant statistic would be the languages spoken by people using the internet and doing development. I believe you'd find that the top languages would be different.

What I have learned is that we/Jupitermedia generally focus on English sites. We do have some deals where some of our content and/or sites have been translated.
Most sites that are translated are done as a licensing deal. If someone is interested in paying a licensing fee for the translation right, then that would be consider. In general (in my personal opinion), it makes more sense to translate an 'article' site rather than a forum site.
So in summary, we currently have no plans to translate this site.
Brad!
