    Active Directory & SQL Server on same server?

    Does anyone know if it's OK to put an Active Directory Server and a SQL-Server on the same box? Obviously, the loads on AD and SQL Server would matter as would the hardware used but let's assume that the connections to both AD and SQL Server are light and that the hardware is capable.
