Stop AOL 8.0 bugging me!
Firstly i hate Real player, and i dont need it. But AOL demands that i install it everytime i load AOL up. Its a damn right nuisance, there must be some value in the registry that checks if its installed or not. So i was wondering does anybody know how to stop it asking me to install REAL Player, its crap anyway, and i hear it sends information to there main server.
Thanks for any advice

Stuck in the 80s
I doubt they store a value in the registry that you can just toggle, it probably physically checks to see if it exists. Perhaps you can manually delete the files, so that the registry entries for RealPlayer still exist.
Otherwise, I'll go with IntelSucks and say "get rid of AOL." Seriously, it's the best answer. Enjoy.
