MS Access 2000 - Flawed, yes but how much
Does any one know if the latest updates for MS Access 2000 contain a major flaw?
Things are getting wierd for us here and all started after the last (failed) update.

I haven't had any problems with it. I've since upgraded to XP (Office2002), and am evaluating 2003. Everything seems to be fine.

I wish we could get our users to upgrade pushing them out of 97 was a big job. In the end we simply said we don't support it change now... they grumbled and now we are stuck on 2K. and it keeps acting up... SP are all added... it's got to be something but I can not for the life of me figure out why I get the message "Access has created errors and must close (a log file is being created)" at random when users click on things (No log file too).

The only "weird" thing I can think of...
Sometimes my VB program shows a record has updated, on the PC that did the transaction. Yet, go to another PC and it hasn't updated yet. It is like the originating PC is not flushing the cache properly. I have begun using Begin/End transactions.

I work with fairly large amounts of data and when I need to Break a query Ctl-Break, it rarely works, or need to break code, again, rarely works, but It does come up with Not responding frequently and closes. I also receive "Access has created errors and must close (a log file is being created)" frequently.
I would say I go through this about 4-5 times per day. Very annoying. Drives me crazy.
I have also been getting not responding and error messages in Excel.
