worldwide dialup service
I am shopping for an affordable internet dialup service provider that has local access lines in all the major global locations ... North America, South America, Europe, ...
This would be for sporadic use while traveling.
So far my search has been fruitless.
Anyone know of such a service?

we have something like that where I work, but I dont know who it is with (I've got no idea who would know).
basically you need to look at the big players in the ISP market, or major telephone companies.
The ones that I know who do that sort of thing are: AOL, BT, AT&T. I think Cable&Wireless & Demon do too (I could be wrong!).

I don't think that AOL is that big in Europe....BT and AT&T is, what about Vodaphone? Maybe they have something like that? They are at least the biggest (no waith DoCoMo passed them) in cell phones....

I dont know about mainland europe, but AOL is pretty big in the UK.. I used their free trial a few years ago (cos they started on the "no call charges"!), and I remember them having a wide choice of servers in several countries.
