Reference Dll In .net
I am trying to reference a DLL (written in C++ 6) in VB .NET which I have referenced successfully in VB6.
--> Add Reference
--> Browse
When I select the DLL, the type in the "Selected Components" box at the bottom says just "File" instead of "COM" or ".NET".
When I click on OK, I get an error message saying "This is not a valid assembly or COM component......."

Just for the record:
resolved by going to the command prompt, changing to the directory where the MSDE setup file is located and typing
setup SAPWD="AStrongSAPwd"
