Does anyone know the correct installation directories Crystal Reports 4.6 (the one that ships with VB 6.0) .dlls and stuff? For that matter, does anyone have an accurate list of the components that need to be installed to make Crystal Reports work. All the documentation I have seen is really hazy about these aspects. I've spent a week trying to get this to work with my application.
As a side note: This has nothing to do with the installation of VB 6.0. This has to do with installing an application written in 6.0 using Crustal Reports 4.6.
Thanks to one and all.

You should use the Packing and Deployment Wizard, which will create a set of installation disks. If your application uses Crystal Reports control, then all necessary files will be included in that set.

The package and deployment wizard was near next to useless in setting this up. It did not find half of the file dependencies, and then it stuff the ones it found in the wrong location.
Thanks for the try on that one, but I've already been down that road.

Try using the Visual Studio Installer instead of the Package & Deployment wizard. It's free from Microsoft.
