Seems like a good idea. Now you can clearly tell if a thread is Sticky.

Brad/Martin do you think you could do the same for the recent Advertisement thread?

    e.g

    Advertisement : Thread Title.......

Then everyone specially new user will know that its an advertisement and thus make the choice whether to read it or not.

Well considering the thread starter is named "advertiser" I think everyone understands what it is...

If i remember it correctly, last time it was some other User name, so the username is not a Constant. Anyway its not a big deal. Just something that will clearly distinguish between a normal thread and an advertisement thread.

According to "The Hobo" there are lot more of advertising thread to come

"sticky" was added back per another thread's request. It made sense to put it back.

As to 'ad' or something being added to the other, that won't happen. Those posts are done in a very different way than the normal post, so it is a bit harder to add a prefix anyway.

The change this time for the thread ads was to add 'Advertiser' to as the poster name. I agree that makes it much clearer. As to The Hobo's speculations, I've not seen his thread. In my opinion, the thread ads are more valuable if there is a very limited number of them. Additionally, I already vocalized when these first appeard months ago, that I thought they should be kept to a minimum. I received agreement. I believe that one thread ad at a time gives the maximum benefit to the advertisors. I've expressed that opinion to my boss.

    Brad!

No worries Brad, its not essential and hopefully like last time the ad thread will just disappear one day
