I don't believe there is such an option. I don't understand why you'd want to see the oldest threads first, but if you do want to you can click the little search arrow next to the Last Post column header.

Actually I like to sort them in the ascending order of Number of replies.

Seriously, the admins must not want anyone to go there. I don't even look at the codebank anymore, I just remembered it was there.

I move my mouse to the left or right to navigate to forums. I think that is easier. So far, you are the only person I know who has used those jumps

Post a poll and see what the percentages are for expanding versus leaving the two areas collapsed.
Let's see if there is enough of an opinion to make a change.

Combine both of them and then expand them. That is the only logical solution. When they're collasped, I'm willing to bet it won't get nearly half as much traffic as it normally would. Hell I haven't even gone in either of them since they were collasped. Posts under either one can sometimes fall under the other category as well so it doesn't make sense to keep the 2 categories anyway.
