well first off I have to say I laughed my A$$ off at the title of this thread.
Secondly I really don't know what you are asking...
You want to give your application a somewhat "windows" look. What I mean is most applications in windows have similar features, like menus shortcuts etc... this is on purpose... users have less to learn when things are similar. Users want to be able to hit F1 and have help come up... not need help to find help
other than that though, keep the form clean and uncluttered. Test it on the lowest resolution it will be running on (usually 800x600 these days) to make sure everything still looks ok.
