Upgrade to VB.net?
i'm sure all of you who use VB.net enjoy it. I was wondering how similiar it is to code in VB.net compared to VB6 and if you can open your VB6 projects with .Net. I'm thinking about upgrading to .Net, but i want to knwo if the coding is about the same or if i can open my old VB6 projects.
Thanks

As for coding in it do a search and you should fing plenty of info from past posters. In regards to opening VB6 projects in .NET not a snowballs chance in hell. .NET is a whole new world, but read the posts and you'll get a good understanding of whats ahead.

Just because you can't run vb6 apps in .net, doesn't mean you can't have VB6 installed and run along side vb.net. They are not mutually exclusive, you can run both on a machine at the same time.
