    new to vb.net ;-)

Hello! I have written in VB6 before to create a database with VB as the front end and Access 2k2 as the back end. I am now (1 year later) looking to do another project but i would like to do it in VB.NET. i am basically a bit muffled by the new layouts and codes etc, so i am looking for a small example project that i can look through to get my head around things.

I would again like to use access as the back end because i like access and this project i want to do will only be for one or two computers to use and it will just be logging small data.

What i would like to see is something like an address and customer input bit, and(or) a booking-in scheduler.
because i am trying to make a database for booking in people to use a Band rehearsel studio for my friend.

So does anyone know of a few example projects i can take a look at? it would help me greatly!

danke very very much for any help!

First off , you should learn how ADO.NET works in .NET . In this link , click the 'Data Access Overview' on the left pane . You can't figure out how the examples work without knowing how these objects interacts together . http://samples.gotdotnet.com/quickstart/winforms/
