MCSD certification would certainly help, however, it is also very difficult to get. Because unless you already know your stuff extremely well(ie. you can set up a network in your sleep) then you will need to study very hard. However, there are places to help you with that, too. But, just know that it's a very difficult set of exams. The same for MCSD(Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer), which is the programmer's certification.
