Performance VB6 vs VB.NET
I've been working with VB6 for quite a while now but it's looking likely that I'll have to start working with VB.NET soon.
How does VB.NET executable compare with VB.NET executable in terms of performance?
The project I've been working on for the past year uses the VB OpenGL API (1.2).
Will this work OK with VB.NET and is there a more up to date API that is fully .NET compliant.
Cheers,
Mark.

Don't have much experience of Open GL so can't say which is best - but .NET comes with its own graphics API GDI+ which is fully managed. Perhaps you could investigate this?
P.S. let us know how it compares please.
