A BRILLIANT code converter
I'm trying out this program that's supposed to convert a FORTRAN file into a .bas module for Visual Basic. So far I believe it's functionality includes changing any capital letters into lowercase letters.....and that's it. Pretty much just renames the file with a .bas extension. This is ridiculous. It doesn't even change the comments which are as easy as replacing the full word " c " with " ' ". This can't be all there is to this program. If so, I'm going to develop software that can convert any source code in any language into a .bas module and sell it for $1000. Ridiculous.

Is this product really being sold for that much? And if so, are people actually buying it?
And if so, why?

That's the product. Maybe I'm expecting it to do something that it's not.

You don't understand. If you re-read my post, you'll see that my program is going to convert any language into a .bas module, not just FORTRAN. So that's why mine will cost $1000, as opposed to just $100.

Sarcasm never really conveys well via text.

I didn't say anything. I just said you were illustrating a point. Never said which one.

Way out in left field, sadly. Can you mow the lawn while you're out there?
