Turning off expanding Start Menu in Win2K

I'm running Windows 2000 and the menus that pop up from the start menu (for example: start->programs) have little down arrows that I have to cursor over to see *all* the menu items. Is there any way to turn this feature off so that I see all the menu items by default???

Right click toolbar, click properties. Click the 2nd tab in the box(forgot what it is called), click customize, scroll down and uncheck personalized menus

I think it is one of the worst and most annoying ideas Microsoft has had.

The Windows XP "personalized" menu which prevents you from finding anything useful at all is the worst Microsoft idea ever. Yet, I still can't believe how many people actually like that menu. All because of their stupid "name" being written on top there.

    Save me, please.

Personalized menus, huh? Man, that was really clear on the part of Microsoft. At any rate, unchecking it worked great. Thanks!
