There's a barcode font I made for a different project here: http://www.parksie.uklinux.net/Code39.ttf
This one is Code 39, which is slightly different, but widely used, especially in libraries. The only thing is you need to have a * at the start and end:
M I K E ==> * M I K E * for the reader

Parksie, did you create the font? Which program do you use for creating fonts? Thanks.

I can't remember where it was from, but it was a program called "Font Creator Program" (often just FCP).
I didn't actually create it totally, but it was cobbled together from other bits, and I redid a couple of bits. That's why the letters D, E, M, and O are missing . But since I didn't need the letters when I made it, I wasn't too bothered. You can buy official (and much higher quality) fonts with everything in, but only for about £100, which is far too much just for a font!

I am not sure if that is what I am looking for.
I am actually looking for something where as I type regular text, it converts to barcode or UPC format. I did it once in Microsoft Word.

The font should be the best thing for that then.

This is a good site to get *.ttf files for barcode. Anyone knows how to register a new font?
Thanks for helping out who replied!

Copy it into your c:\win98\fonts folder and Windows takes care of the rest.
