Services for Unix

This is pretty cool, instead of charging $99 Microsoft released them for free (as they should!).
Instead of a program like cygwin which runs ontop of the Win32, these run next to the Win32 instead of on top. I can now run all sorts of awesome unix commands.
Here is a review if you're interested: http://www.arstechnica.com/etc/linux/index.html
It's Win2k and Win2k3 only, no XP..... *snicker*
I'd like to add that the kill command works thousands of times better with this than End Task in the task manager. Even when the program is being stuborn and won't end task immediately, open the Unix console, type kill and the PID number and BOOM the application is INSTANTLY gone.

pthreads support, which is nice. wonder how it compares with existing libraries.

Yeah I tried installing it on home earlier and it didn't work. SOmeone said it didn't install on their Pro so I figured it didn't work on XP at all.
