Looking for da famous compression software
I remember a long time ago I used to see a certain compression format around... I uncompressed a 120MB file to 2GB... I cant recall what it was called (UHARC maybe?)
I'm looking for something like that...What's the best compression program that I can find? the one that I'm talkign about is better than ZIP/RAR or anything (it takes a LONG time to compress/decompress though). Does anyone know what's the best compression program I may find?

It isn't possible and RAR beats all compression formats.
I've found a 50MB RAR file un-rar to 120GB before. It HIGHLY depends on the data you are compressing.

umm well I know it depends to the data... but this thing used to be famous cuz it was much better than anything else. All the guys who used to pack "warez" games for people to download used to use this thing as far as I remember heh

They used ZIP, and now RAR.
Take a look at this: http://nuwen.net/bwtzip.shtml
It compares RAR and bwtzip as well as other compression formats.
