OnClick Event in Word

I know that no such thing exists in a hperlink field in Word but seriously how do you trap the mouseclick event in the Hyperlink field codes to run a function to parse the hperlink address or for any other use???

Anybody know how to trap the mousedown event in VBA? Should I use an API function or try to write my own class module with its own events etc. Or is there something in Word VBA that I am missing in the .follow or the .folowhyperlink events that I can use??

Guys anyBody have any suggestions of how I can get this done???
