HTTP_REFERER Not Existing
I'm trying to make a statistics script and I can't seem to get the HTTP_REFERER ServerVariable to work.
I've enumerated all the variables and it doens't seem to exist.
I've searched the net a bit and found that IE6 seems to have a problem with this...although none of the help articles posted have helped.
Upon further evaluation it doesn't work with the latest Netscape either.
Any help would be much appreciated,

Do you have Norton Personal Firewall as this blocks it?

Ah, yes I do.
I did a lot more research on this yesterday...meant to edit my post but vbforums was having database problems at the time.
Now at least I know how to tell if Norton has blocked it (HTTP_WEFERER existance) so I can keep track of all blocked refererals anyway.
Any idea on how to decrypt the WEFERER string?

No I didn't know about HTTP_WEFERER!
Doesn't look hopeful from this post though...

No it doesn't....I doubt I'll be able to decrypt it. What I'm doing now is trying to detect the HTTP_REFERER value...if it doens't exist I check for HTTP_WEFERER value, it that exists I say the referer was "*DISABLED*", thus I know that user had Norton block it.
Thanks for your input!
