Disable seek for floppies?
I have forgotten where to disable the option "always seek for floppy on startup" (or something like that). Can anybody help?

No, I am talking about a checkbox in Windows which must be unckecked. In Win 98 it can be done in Control Panel -System - Properties, etc., but I can't find it in Win XP.
