You don't want to break the law, do you?
I suggest that you instead use VB.NET. It's a newer better language and the compiler is free. You can also get a free IDE for it.

The .NET compiler is included with the .NET framework. If you can run a .NET program then you can compile one.
You can also get a free IDE that's about as good as VS. http://www.icsharpcode.net/OpenSource/SD/Default.aspx

1) Do you not have the correct license to compile your projects?
2) Nkad, did you download that Icon Extractor you needed?
3) How long as .NET actually been released?
4) Isnt that illegal downloading stuff from Kazaa, and wont it include some known viruses and trojans?

1. Visual Basic 5 CCE is a free Control Creation Edition by Microsoft. You can't compile exes with it.
3. .NET have been around for about two years (I can't remember the actual release year)
4. Pretty much everything is illegal in Kazaa. Besides Kazaa includes spyware. There are other better programs if you need to get stuff illegally. Don't go asking those from me.
