    Personal Web Server\ASP Problems

    Hi,

I'm trying to develop an asp based web site from my home pc which runs windows 98 (it will be deployed to 2000), but I get the following error message whenever I try to access an asp page.

    Server Application Error
The server has encountered an error while loading an application during the processing of your request. Possible error could be the application is not registered correctly. Please contact the server administrator for assistan

I've tried re installing personal web server and I've tried re registering asp.dll but it still doesn't work.

Does anyone have any ideas, it's obviously a component issue, can anyone suggest other components that I may want to re register, or perhaps registry settings?

    Cheers,

    Auld Nick

Indeed I am, but I've found a way around it anyway, I simply created a new virtual directory and put all my scripts in there, probably some stupid little flaw in Windows 98, I wont get too upset about that.

    Thanks for the reply
