Hmmm not that i know of. I used to use McAfee quick clean but thats gone. I have norton utilities but that never affected it before.

if u want to clear the crap like cookies and temporary files and cache files then use a utility called Tracks Eraser. 10/10

Just currious...Do you get this error on the megaman[1].zip file when trying to open any file from download or just the megaman[1].zip file? and do you have the folder named HWGN950H where megaman[1].zip alledgedly resides..
This looks like a kazaa file..no...

It's not a KaZaA file. That folder name is a product of Windows and it creates those random named folders when u open a file straight from the location.
It actually caches the file in one of those folders and opens it from there. Like temp directory.

Bcos windows caches a file before it can open from location. That means it saves a file to one of those directory and sometimes if the file gets nutz then you can open it bcos it already exists but have gone nutz.
That's why you should try clearing those temp and cache files and give it another go.
I assume that it only happens with that file, Megaman...! Right..?
If yes then clearing might solve it and you have nothing to loose.

it happens with all the files and i tried clearing my cache with a few programs.

Hmm. That's strange...!!! What happens if you save the file on HDD and then open it. Does it work...?
