disclaimer during install ...
Is this just another form? How does it get into the compiled program?
I'm looking ahead, I'm not ready for compile yet.
Thanks,

Installation is controlled by the setup program you use. I know that Wise has a form editor that you can use for disclaimers and stuff.

It has been a few years since I've compiled a program, but doesn't VB 5.0 Pro include a setup program when you make an .exe?

I don't know for fact, since I've never used below VB6, but I doubt it would make a setup for you when you compile.
You could use the package and deployment wizard, if you've got it. It comes with a VB project that it bases the setup program on, so all you would need to do would be to modify the project.

if you use INNO setup (it's free.. at...www.jrsoftware.org), you can specify a .txt file and INNO supplies a form for you...
just a thought.
