LAMP System (Linux Apache MySql PHP) **SOLVED**
Hey all,
i thought its about time to get a closer look at Linux. So I thought I might start of with building my new Web - Apps on a Linux System.
I installed Suse Linux Professional 9.0, Apache 2, mySql and the PHP extensions for Apache. I got Apache working OK, The PHP Extension is working OK, but I just cant find how to create a database, tables.... in mySql. I know there is a WEB-App to do this, but I just cant find it anywhere!
Anyone here can point me to the right direction?
Thanks in advance,
Stephan

It's called phpMyAdmin. A web based interface for you to manage your MySQL db.
There's always commandline too

phpmyAdmin, I just cant find it on the machine, do I need to install it extra or does it come along with the mysql standard package?
Thanks, Stephan

No, you'd have to download it. Do a search on google for it.
