Not neccessarily the solution.
But you can use an ole link to a picture, which effectively means a hard coded filepath link to the picture you want to display and perhaps change the picture content to the one you want before displaying the report.
As far as the true / false, if that means you want to display a field conditionally, then on the format general tab, there is a suppress functionand you could create a formula to decide whther it should be displayed or not.
