    Hi all...

Do I have to install all the service packs, or is the latest one enough (SP5) ?

SP5 is a cummulative pack. That itself is enough.

I've been using 2.6 also... didn't even know there was a 2.8 out until I did the search. I can't imagine that there are large compatibility issues with it, however. I would hope that it would be backward compatible... but then it wouldn't be labeled MS, now would it?

No, I don't believe they are. Jet has to be downloaded seperately now.

It was the buggy version....you at least need service pack 1.0 to use it...that is for sure...
