Bid-up.tv.... are they really this bad?

    Hi all.

I've ordered an item from bid-up.tv.... and haven't received it... but have been charged! I've spent hours hanging on the phone... but nobody answers!!!!!

I'm a little peeved to say the least!

Anyone got their direct number instead of the 0870 crap? I'm gonna call Trading Standards soon...

    Ta.

    Quick update:

I finally got through after holding on for nearly 25 mins....

I gave the girl my PIN number... and she hung up!

Waste of space.... honestly! If anyone's thinking of ordering from Bid-Up.tv or Price-drop.tv.... don't... it's not worth the hassle.

Most of the guide prices are way above what the items actually worth anyway! We just bought a gold bracelet 68g's in weight... advertised on bid-up as being £995... we bought it from a shop in Lichfield for £335.

Their delivery service is dreadful too! They don't knock on your door and wait for you to answer... they just leave it outside. My friend had a globe he payed nearly £100 for... litterally thrown over his gate!!! It's amazing it didn't break!

There slogan is "pay less.. get more, delivery within 7 days". The truth of it is actually "pay over the odd's, and get it thrown at you when we can be bothered to deliver it!"

Im from uk, i never buy from places like that. Infact ive only recently started shopping online, from Ebay etc. I got bumped there, i bought a Xbox controller for £13.50 and they told me the P&P has gone up from £2 to £6! So it cost me £19.50, i should of just bought it from Chips the computer store for £15 brand new

how many people are going to have that avatar now? I reckon the admins should make everyone's avatar that (or something else funny) on special occasions.

Why not just call your credit card company? You should be able to dispute the charge under "undelivered services." Something like that...

Anyways, it shouldn't be to much of a hassle. Just make sure that you're not jumping the gun on your suspicions because bad claims will go against your credit...I think.

give it a week then contact trading standards. Then sue the nasty company for back pains caused by waiting on the phone. In todays world you would probably win
