Do you guys go to VisualBasicForum.com??
What a bunch of losers. I recently posted this thread under general:
http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=270640
I posted it in both forums. The mod(loser) moved it before I could even view it. They delete and move threads as they wish.
That's the last time I posted there for sure. No explanation whatsoever.
Funny thing is that he moved it to Databases and Reporting. When I complained and told him to learn VB before attempting to move threads he moved it to API section and deleted my thread automatically.
Jezzz.

I once had a thread deleted simply because I had mentioned VBF in a post!
There's a reason there's more people here, and it's more active.....

Seems like they have quite a unique and innovating design. I wonder how they thought of it!?

This is the only forum I go to where cross-posting doesn't get you in trouble.
Most will outright ban you and delete both threads (I know I would).

Another site like that is http://www.msnfanatic.com . They seem to get jollies from getting to use their mod powers.

the mods at www.htmlforums.com are a little more uptight than the ones here, but they arent so bad.

Wachu tokinbout willis?
If we're talkin 'bout snake, he had been doin his thing for a while, and even when it became evident what he was doing, he didn't even acknowledge what he was doing was wrong.
Besides, as Brad explained, what he did was just about the worst violation of the users agreement possible, {aup??? I forget}.
He deserved no second chance.

Nah I agree. We do actively discuss things to make the forum a better place to be, and we're all very approachable.
And another good thing (IMHO), is that all of the moderators on VBF came from the userbase itself. So we didn't just wander into the jobs, and as such, we know the users.
E.g. I know I mostly delete any mendhak or cptpcctptpcprblade post and no-one will really miss it, or ban kovan and it'll just make him feel at home again
