I am studying for a vb degree and I am at present learning 'c'.
I have a question to answer which is to build a pgm that prints out the number of people in a bus queue using the rand function there must never be no people in the queue
and a person departs or arrives every 30 seconds It is the rand function that is a problem to me, where do I put rand within the c program.
Hope someone can help

Sorry to Hi-jack your post, but do you know any freeware C(++) compilers?
Thanks!

freeware C++
Here is a link to PCGrasp programming environment and
Cygwin32, the compiler. It is decent software. I use it at school.

Monday Morning Lunatic
CygWin is actually a whole development system designed to mimic a Unix system, and it contains the GNU C++ compiler.

Here's an idea...
For a better response to C/C++ questions, move this post to the C/C++ Forum!!

DJGPP (RHIDE) C++ compiler is what I use, it gives better compile-error suggestions than any other compiler i've seen.
