My gym is at home, I've built up a pretty good one over the years. I go 5-7 days a week for about an hour a day with some more time in the evening.

If I went to a gym, I'd probably lose this beer gut...
and then I would need to buy a whole new wardrobe.
No thanks!

Maybe I WAS being serious.

Anyway, a crunch machine will help your tummy. Some Stacker 2 from GNC will help burn off some of the fat while working out. A friend of mine says that stuff works really well, so Im not just throwing you a sales pitch like a WWE wrestler.

The only way to loose weight is to burn more calories than you take in.
and I'm with JPicasso on this one...I just bought new clothes for my fat ass...I want to get my moneys worth!

I started going to a gym about 10 years back. My intention was to lose some weight. The first day, one of the muscle heads that worked at the gym said I should start seeing some weight gain in a couple of weeks.
Gain?
What we have here, is a failure to communicate!
Still, I think he was right. I put in fairly steady workouts, depending on my job schedule, but I never lose weight. However, if I stop working out for a couple of months, my weight stays the same....until I start working out again, whereupon I gain 5-10 lbs in a week. Therefore, either don't start or don't stop.
Seriously, I keep with the routine because I feel much better, and it helps with all the sports. As far as weight loss, forget it. For that, I would suggest diet alterations and aerobic exercise. My weight loss technique is to go for a month long walk, but not everybody is into that.

I have my own "workout routine" at work.
A job as a dairy manager will set you straight, and you HAVE TO stick to your routine, cuz if ya don't, your manager gets really ticked off at ya.
I lift heavy crates for about 40 hours a week, and in the past 7 months I have lost a lot of weight.

I haven't been to the gym in all my life. I don't play any sports or do any excersise, and I eat loads. Somehow I neither gain or lose weight and my body-mass index is pretty much spot on. I still don't know why... it certainly shouldn't be...

I guess its something to do with your genes or something. In my case, if I am drinking a glass of water, it looks like I am taking lot of calories.
