    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....rrrrr[solved][notsolve][sobeR?]

Ok. I'm trying to use XMB message boards [no i dont want any others] and when I upload the folder to my server and go to config.php its blank! Also what is the difference between database name and database host?

You might want to contact their support about your issue.

A database name is the name of the database you're using, such as xmb_boards. A database host is probably something like 'localhost' or an IP address to show where the database is hosted.

Your host would probably be something like your server name. You have a CPanel, right? In the database section, they give you the PHP connection string required. Also, the database name will be as hobo suggested. If you do a search in the XMB community, you should be able to find an answer to any XMB related questions.

Even though you said no, I would STILL recommend against the use of XMB.

I used it, and while I was using it, a HUGE flaw was spotted in their code. They updated and immediately didn't support the older version. Then the samething happened with the next version.

Spotty place. I'd go with Invision Power Board.
