    How can I determine what version of Windows Installer is present on a machine?

    Im not exactly sure what a "windows installer" is but I think this is what your trying to get at...


    Start>>Run

    type in "winver"


    Or in cmd you can type "ver" and it will tell you.

    Open the command prompt and type in msiexec and it will tell you the version.

    ok... windows installer... sorry ver does tell you the version but not the installer version. oh well
