    Try Sam

I do not know if there is one for Visual Foxpro, but there are good books called "Sam's Teach Yourself . . . in X Days." The ones for Visual C++ & Visual Basic are good.

I think he has some which do not cover much in 6-7 days and others that cover more in 21 or so days. The titles are all alike.

If there is one for Visual FoxPro, it will probably be good.

See http://www.samspublishing.com for more data. There is source code that goes with the books at that site. I have never looked at their site, but I suppose they have a list of all of Sam's books.

I have not tried it yet (it was a gift), but I have a huge book called "Hacker's Guide to Visual FoxPro 6.0" It looks good, but I cannot say more since I have not really done more than scan it. It is published by Hentzenwerke Publishing Company. They also have a Web Site: http://www.henzenwerke.com, form which sample code can be downloaded.
