Win 2K on these specs
I'd like to know if Win2K would run well on these specs:
P2- 333 MHz
160 MB RAM
10 + 6 GB HDD (two hard drives)
It's my old desktop and I was thinking of a clean format, and upgrading to a better OS.

It won't go very fast...but it will work. I have win2k on my laptop,
233 MMX
128Mb RAM
4Gb Hd.
....

It runs fine, i run a comp like NoteMe, pretty much the same and works fine, won't work for games i suppose, havn't tried it for that, but documents and stuff it's good.

One of my friends has W2K on this:
P2- 350 MHz
256 MB RAM
20 GB HDD
it's a little slow, but usable.

It's a build of linux i think, he tried to get someone else to convert to it in another post somewhere.

No I didn't, it's just a suggestion. If ya got an old PC, why not learn a new OS?
