i have a virus and i dont know how to take it off

my virus is something related with msregld32.exe and dlldate.exe
i already searched thru all the internet and only found a a couple of posts on google and they didnt explain how to delete the damn virus, i can't find info even on symantec site!

the bug consists in a command window opening each 30 sec saying "Kill dlldate.exe" or something like that and then closing, which turns out to be a lot amusant as it does it ALL 30 secs...

any help how to get off this?

(i already deleted both files but the problem is how do i find which program is always appearing as it comes up so fast that i can't see its exename)

Open regedit and search the registry for those exe names and delete any keys that pop up. See a crappy virus puts itself in the startup but a good one uses the registry to run it at startup.

You can use filemon from Sysinternals to check what files are used! BTW, if you are downloading Filemon take a second and download REGMON too. That way you can see what RegKeys are used!

    Heres the link,
