refreshing the datareport and/or dataenvironment

hello guys...

Can someone tell me how to update(refresh) the datareport with new info. I have tried anything and everything, but still the thing doen't want to work.
Things I've tried: unloading and reloading the dataenvironment and datareport.
requerying the dataenvironment
refreshing the datareport and even its controls.

so I'm absolutely dumbfounded..
can anyone give suggestions on what I can do.

I've tried to send the project along with this message but unfortunately, it's too big..

All I needed was datacontrol1.updaterecord

It works now
