database update?

I want to make a program that will have a large database with everal fields and the user can view the fields by putting in the modifiers, the problem is that i want the users to be able to update the database through the program, i dont know how to do this because when they update it i need it to update for all the users that have the program.... Is this possible? and if it is does anyone know how? I was thinking of having it go to a url with the updated version but im not sure if that will work because when people change things that file would have to be sved on the program.... any help is appreciated!

Do not understand your problem? Multi-user databases are used for that reason, to have many users updating/viewing shared information. You can use the control at the bottom of my post.

Could you make your situation clearer?
