Well, I've been following the advice found here on VB World in the Topic Areas and on the BB for writing screen savers. They work great in W9x & NT but fall apart in W2K. For some reason, they only show up as a small "minimized" looking box above the task bar. Any thoughts?
Even if I take the exact code from VBWorld to create a screen saver, the same thing happens in W2K.

I know a friend with similar problems. Try looking in the MS knowledge base or contacting microsoft.
Sorry I couldn't help

I've written a VB Screen saver tutorial and many of my readers have emailed me with that problem. As I do not have windows 2k I don't know what to tell you. I believe there is a way to do it with API ... but not sure. If you find out ... other that from this post, and you have a bit of free time, I would appreciate it if you could let me know where or how you did it.

Good! I'm glad I'm not the only one with the problem. I thought I was going crazy at first...
Well, that takes care of backwards compatibility!!!
