FreeView - Load of crap?
Hi All.
Yesterday... I purchased a Panasonic TPTC20 Freeview digital box for £95.
After using it for a mere 3 hours... I decided it was a load of crap and am going to return it later 2day.
ANYONE THINKING OF HAVING IT FITTED.... LOOK ELSEWHERE!
You can get Sky Digital for £12.50 p/m with 80 free channels and several good pay4view channels, and they all work everytime you change the channel, unlike the Freeview box.
It's a HUGE con! If i advertised a top spec PC costing £12.50p/m but came with 17" TFT, 250GB HD and a Radeon 9800 PROII... or asked for £100 pounds immediately and i'll give you just a mouse & keyboard... people would laugh
It's just another expensive scam, IMHO. Get yourself a Sky box, and save yourself the trouble.
Anyone else had Freeview fitted? What do you think?

Paid about £50 for our freeview box. Updated the software on it via laptop/com. Works a treat. I'm quite happy with it to be honest.
