right click desktop, properties, then settings tab and change it.
If that doesn't allow you to move the slider over for higher resolution, you're not downloading the correct drivers.
My VooDoo 3 supports 1024 X 768 just fine and can go higher as well.

i tries that. the std windows98 driver wouldn't let the slider move at all, then XP wouldn't go higher than 800*600 w/o a newer driver. Linux was the only OS that could go up to 2047*???, but it only found 16mb mem. Oh yes and on XP when i installed the new driver NONE of my games would run.

Maybe your montior doesn't support resolutions higher than 640 * 480... My voodoo 4 in my old box goes up to 1280 * 1024

$50 dollars buys you a cheap Nvidia or ATI card.
Your games will run better, and you'll have a lot less headaches

I had a Voodoo 5 5500, ran it under WIN 98. I didn't have any problems using higher resolutions. Double check what your monitor is listed as? Only thing I can think of.
PC performance buffs have long measured hardware advances using a few simple metrics: Is it faster? Is it bigger? Does it have more blinky lights?
