The RX-8 is bad ass. God willing that's my next car, I'm weeks away from bagging my current and going for it. Definitely a nice looking/performing car. I'm so tired of seeing Mustangs I could puke. 9 miles of straight highway between my house and a major interstate. Plenty of room to open it up.

I think the car you drive is going to do nothing to help the fact that
everyone thinks you act like a girl.
Sorry, but that's how it is.
Get a pink one.

You are joking!!!
I need something semi-practical, and looks nice! It doesn't even have a roof!
What's a P1?

Subaru Impreza WRX P1
The best Impreza EVAR!
£8k can get you a nice MY99 WRX (Not a P1 btw )
jap imports are of a higher spec than the UK models, though importing is not for the faint of heart (or just look for a local dealer that imports)
autotrader is your friend

Something with room for a Prada handbag and matching booties? Mate - listen to your Y chromosomes and take the Caterham for a test drive.

I've got a chevy cavalier that I'd sell you.
I'ts a 95 with 111,000 miles on it. Been in about 7 accidents and with all the body re-work,
looks good as new. It's red and doesn't go fast.
I'll throw in about $ .60 worth of Michigan returnable soda cans too.
Now that's a deal.

Nope, lets see how my memory is...
1. In a ditch off of an icy road. (almost lost me wife, yikes!)
2. rear-ended by a tow truck
3. rear-ended bye a guy wearing flip flops
4. sideswiped by a lady trying to parallel park
5. I reared someone else... (I said, go fast)
6. ended up in someones drivers door as she tried to turn left in a straight only lane, ACROSS a straigh only lane.
7. Hmmmm ah yes, was involved in a 6 car chain-reaction as our line of cars was stopped and the last guy wasn't.
Although, it's never been flipped.
However, all but one side panel has been replaced.
windshield, and drivers, and passenger windows have been replaced..
reminds me.. #8.
Was hit by a deer trying to kiss me as I was on the highway.
It tried to stick its head in the drivers side as I was doing 60mph!
There was a piece of it's tounge smeared where the drivers window was and the car started up again. cool.
Luckily I didn't hit it head on or it would have been real nasty.
Anyway, Sparky runs like a champ, might need new radio speakers, but that's about it.

Hehe,
I was in upper michigan. just south of the bridge. I don't know if that helps you in the uk or not... here.
Map
Zoom out to 7 or 8 for a better view.
I was just north of this town. ANYWAY
The Highway is actually 70 so natually, I was cruising along at 80-90 mph when we saw some deer darting toward the road.
I slowed down a ways and the way the road was, when they ran to the ditch, it looked as if they both turned around, but only the first one did.
Next I knew, the second one tried to kiss me through a car window at 60mph.
almost ran off the road.
That was a fun experience, picking little squares of glass out of my face and everwhere. Stupid deer.

You can get a H-J Reg Celicia GT for £1-2k (mk3?)
Put your left foot lightly on the brake to show your lights whilst acclerating just becareful as your left foot isnt used to the type of movement of the brake over the clutch.

Yes. Chicago is a lovely place to drive.
All but one of these (and the deer) were in Chi-town.
We now take the train.
(when did the roll eyes get all girly?)
