    what does it means a cd writes at 52x?

    what does it mean? i mean how much kbs second is it?

    my old one was an 8x and i dont notice a big difference between them

    maybe the cause is the ****ty cds im using..tomorrow ill buy some cd that writtes at 52x to test it

    Errrr...ok..with 52X you will be able to burn a CD in 3-4 minutes or so....just devide the length of the Cd 74? with the speed and you will have the time. But remember that there is some writing lead out and in stuff too so you have to add some time....


    But you should notice a huge diffrence....are you sure your settings are right?

    yeah..i've put it to 52x..but it took like 8 mins .. i think the thing is that the cd only supports like 12x or something like that

    anyways i am having a problem..nero doesnt recognize my new cd writter but win xp writter and some other i have here shipped with it do recognize..*** is happening?

    for CDs, each X means 150 kilobytes per second

    umm but if everything is ok and compatible, it should be 150KB/sec for each X, + some more time to finish up burning, I guess
